Sheahan & Collins and their Trade Partners completed 3 days of training with an introduction to Lean Construction training on the Last Planner System®, and also started applying learnings to their Grangegorman student accommodation development project.
The training involved a combination of classroom training sessions a range of Lean Construction simulations including Villego, demonstrating the successful use of the Last Planner® System on construction projects.
A great team effort was demonstrated by S&C and its’ key Trade Partners, with a focus on collaborative planning, constraint identification and elimination, all geared towards creating and maintaining effective workflows throughout the project with realistic and achievable commitments for the greater good.
LPS also lends itself to creating and fostering cultural changes within the project team, with the collaborative approach (versus a silo approach) helping build strong project partnerships.
